Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Don't worry, my p chem classmates hated me, too. The prof wouldn't curve the tests because I made 98+ on all of them. (Sometimes I'd miss a minus sign or two, so he'd dock me. 😛 ) You might try talking less in class to give other people a chance to answer, and you might also consider offering to help some of the other students study if you have the time and inclination. 🙂

Yeah, it's going to get great ratings, but it's going to cause a lot of trouble. Especially since our society is SOOOOOO PC anymore.

If one team consistently loses challenges and such, think of what speculations will come out of it.

I'm not a huge fan of the setup for sure.

Actually I think we live in a good part of town....scary part is that our neighbor, who lives 2 houses away from us got robbed as he was entering the front door.....robber pointed a gun at him

well, you have to remember that I was in a totally different program than what you're looking at.

pros: fabulous location (I was at the Washington Square Park campus), great name recognition, lots of money for research, etc

cons: high tuition (although perhaps not a problem as a MSTP?), pitiful school mascot (the VIOLET? come on people, that's waaaay too cliche even for Greenwich Village), NYC attitude from the admissions staff (Fordham was much nicer) and my advisor

also, I hated the focus of my degree program- I was used to one train of thinking, and NYU was a completely different train, and not even in the same station. so it took some adjusting, and in retrospect, I should have done my homework better pre-application. but that has nothing to do with you. 😉

Did you ever get any good study schedule?

Yeah - from 8/21 - 12/21

I expanded the EK 10-week schedule to 20 weeks and am supplementing it with BB's schedule for the Kaplan Big Book, also extended. i'm just doing content review - no diagnostics or FLs or practice questions.

I'm taking time off of studying from 12/22-1/6 and 1/7-5/7 will be hitting the books again. This time I'll be doing the 10-week schedule with all the components.

Hopefully someone *cough, cough* will be able to help me set up a schedule for taking FLs and such starting in Jan 😉

If you know how to save an outlook express file I can send you a copy!

Your classes were curved based on the highest score? Wow. We had ours done to either a set avg the professor wanted (usually a 77) or others would do it to a perfect bell (15% A, etc..)
