Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Are you getting the common themes to Jane Austen's books?

They were the Harlequin Romance novels of her day 😉

A lot of them have been made into great movies, too!

Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Vanity Fair, Sense and Sensibility, Persuasion (with Ciaran Hinds of Rome), Mansfield Park, and Northanger Abber was a miniseries I think.

I basically made a "new file" for a new calendar and have it labeled as MCAT study. I have entries for every day. I'll try it for you - if I don't figure it out tonight I'll try this week.

I'm going to be partying with JLW and Beary this weekend so I'll try to get it to you before then 🙂

and for the record, just so everyone knows how I rate around my own home..... I'm getting sent downstairs to sleep on the pull-out couch while megboo gets the queen-size futon in the spare bedroom. 😡 😀

Oh trust me, the common themes have certainly been beaten into my head by now. Mercfully though, we'll soon be getting to Sherlock Holmes, certainly a nice change of pace after all these spoiled, love-sick heroines.

watch it, buster. you'll notice that everyone's required to take humanities, even the engineerheads. how many people are required to take engineering? that's right, nobody but the dorks who choose it

Fe - that is ridic 😱 his father is STILL missing!

There was a couple from Mt. Laurel area that disappeared about 1.5 yrs ago or something. They were at a bar in s. philly and left. Never to be seen again. Never found the car. Apparently both were ending other relationships or something of the nature. They checked all the tolls, delaware ave, shipping yards, everything. Nothing to be found.

This world is so f'd up.

day that still lives in infamy:

brother and two friends come out to visit me in college. they are majoring in: MechE, ElecE, and CivE.

we go sightseeing with 2 of my friends. we are majoring in: SW, bio/pre-med, and early childhood special ed.

we make the fatal mistake of going to the Arch. NEVER BRING THREE ENGINEERS TO THE ARCH WITH YOU. it was an engineering nightmare for us girls. (plus it's right next to the Eads Bridge, so the CivE was all a-twitter about that.)

one of my friends just brought that up the other day.. 😉

I feel for you. I'm trying to get mine finished this week as I have about 10 days to verification. These novels jlw and megboo are so fond of are holding me up though.
