Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

random fact:

Marc Summers has severe OCD. Double Dare was a very difficult show for him to be on, with all the slime and stuff.

Wow, had no idea. He handled it well.

What about Wild and Crazy Kids?

He hosted that, too, but then the 3 teens took over. One of them was in some football movie and ripped like crazy.

Random Molly factoid of the day: my phone plays the theme from Legend of Zelda when my mom calls. She is a Zelda maniac. She buys every new Nintendo product just to play the Zelda games on it.

I still am depressed that I never got a piece of that glowing Guts mountain and never got to explore the Hidden Temple.

Dude, I don't know if you get this channel, but they show the old episodes of Legends of the Hidden Temples.

I got SO freakin' pissed at some of the contestants. They dont' seem to understand to RUN in the damn temple! Hello, there's a freakin' clock going against you! I wish I could buy that set and put it in my house.

My friend and I used to stay up all night in grammar school just to beat Mario Bros. Loved that game too.

When we discovered how Mario and Luigi can have multiple lives....that was the best!!!

Best video game of all time. Seriously Molly you have such good taste

A link to the Past (for SNES) was also amazing

Can you believe such a masterpiece is now on color GameBoys? No more blowing in a clunky grey plastic cartridge to get it to work.

Me and my roomates would watch GAS during our lunch breaks during senior year. GUTS reruns every day👍

RANDOM FACTS:

Three seasons of the show aired, producing 120 episodes. Of the 120 episodes, only 32 episodes featured teams successfully getting out of the temple with the artifact. 17 episodes featured a player retrieving the artifact with time remaining, but could not get out of the temple in time.

The only room in the temple that was featured in all 120 episodes was the Shrine of the Silver Monkey.

In the first season, Kirk Fogg gave the instructions for the moat round and temple games. In seasons two and three, those duties were handed over to Olmec. Basically, Fogg got cock-blocked.

The fastest temple run was 1 minute, 46 seconds in season one. The player escaped out of the temple without the help of his partner. However, this was because the player encountered no locked doors due to a production error. The door leading from The Holes of Python to the Tomb of the Ancient Kings (where the artifact was located) was supposed to be locked. Basically, somebody ****ed up.

Three temple runs were completed with just one second left on the clock.

I still have my NES and SNES. I want to replay all those games this year while I have time.

ADCOMS: "So what have you been doing with your year off?"
Me: "Um, kicking Gannon's ass in Zelda and owning Bowser in Mario World"

Durden, your blowing my mind tonight. This is awesome.

I do remember an episode where the partner had no involvement and they won. Must've been it!

Silver Snakes > ALL

I should do that for a halloween costume. Get the pads, helmet, you name it. 😎
