Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Speaking of which, I take back my old comments.

WESTERN europe is overrated to me. I think I'd like eastern Europe. It's like every girl there is a supermodel. That's what my friend said when he went to Russian last summer. 😱

I found Italy to be totally overrated. The buildings and ruins were neat, but the people were jerks and the food sucked. Germany was great, Poland was totally awesome!

The girls in the Eastern European countries may not all be good looking, but they're all thin - they walk everywhere!

My husband has been several times to Ireland, scotland, wales, and france. His favorite was wales followed by ireland.

My ultimate favorite is New Zealand, of course, it's not European, but close enough!

I'm not sure about British food, but in New Zealand, there is a strong Asian/indian/Polynesian influence with LOTS of curried dishes and lots of potato dishes.

Maori food is interesting - pork and potates and corn - hangi style.

I want to go to Spain. I've only ever been up north in Belgium and Netherlands. I think next summer i'm going to do a balls out Europe trip before med school. Hostel style, hopefully minus the killing.

My father-in-law has been to Sweden a dozen times or so - his father came over when he was 17 and there's still family over there I guess. I'd like to do the Sweden-norway-Netherlands tour!

BB, make sure you don't do anything to get your charter kicked out of your school. I.e. at FSU, one fraternity blew up the pool of another with some kinds of explosive. I guess the university didn't find it as funny at they did. lol

Finally flipped out at work today. Almost made it without a nervous breakdown. Like almost as in hours. Oh well. Talked to my senior and he told me that this happens to everybody and most people don't make it to their last day without a breakdown. He said so many people have threatened to quit during their first VA month that specifically part of the job of the seniors is keeping us from quitting. I must say, these last 2 months will rank up there with the worst in my life. I am do down and pissed I almost don't even feel any ecstasy at being done, if that makes any sense.

But, I am ALMOST DONE. Just a few hours to go. Chemistry tomorrow. And then a vacation! I have never needed a vacation so bad in my life.

Did the handoff. Cleaned up the pending list. 2 colons down. All that's left: a small bowel and innumerable smalls. Then I'm OUT OF HERE.

OMG, that 15 cm basal cell that I submitted yesterday was 154 slides!!!!! How random!

BTW, it went to every single one of those 154 deep margins. If I had submitted one flippin cassette the result would have been the same. 😡

I wish I could just pick up a book and read on my spare time...

My entire high school reading experience of novels consisted of reading and trying to memorize small details to get quizzed on. Then came along college with my incredibly large texts. I may start reading the Dark Tower stuff since Beary and my friend here like it so much.
