Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Last night before I went to bed (you know, at 1:30am 🙄 ), I threw a load of laundry in the washer and set the timer, then put it in the dryer this morning.

Today I went out for lunch and my debit card was not in my wallet. After an initial moment of panic, I remembered I got gas on the way home from school last night, and put the card in the back pocket of my jeans.

You know- the jeans I put through the washer and dryer earlier today?

😡

I'm a little scared to go downstairs. I'm avoiding it very well right now.

Oh poor kitty!!!!

I got an invitation to one of those "come to my (tupperware/Longaberger basket/Party Lights/Home Interiors/etc.) party and buy something so I can get free stuff" invitations from my aunt. My annoying aunt.

I have hosted PartyLite and Pampered Chef parties in the past. Much more useful than Tupperware or Longaberger IMHO.

Yeah, I've washed and dried my debit cards several times with no problems - it shoudl be fine.

I don't mind the party so much except my aunt is one that will try anything and everything to get free stuff at the expense of others. I get invited to these parties all the time and am expected to buy stuff because I'm family. It gets old after a while. grrrr/

😳 opened up the dryer and it fell right out at my feet. a little bent, but hopefully the magnetic strip will still work.

your aunt sounds like some people I know. like when someone I went to HS with sent me a wedding invitation 6 years after graduation, having never contacted me in the interim. or getting the PhD graduation invitation from a former friend who'd stopped returning calls from any of us 3 years prior.....

"Hi! Don't care enough about you to stay in touch, but come to my important event and don't forget to bring a gift!"

Not that gifts are important, but this is the same aunt who read at my wedding and whose daughter was a flower girl for me, but never gave me a gift. Like I said, the gift wasn't the disappointing thing, but the snubbing was!

I have some copay checks from today to deposit, so I can run by the ATM in the morning.

(In the meantime, I cashed a bunch today as well, so I had cash for my trip just in case. That's me- always a thinker! 🙄 )
