Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

This is the prettiest park I've been to, but it's near the west coast...Banff National Park

Sweet...yea, I wouldn't mind living at the place like that with the only house developed.

Lake Louise...there's a lake here with the same name. Nice lake, huge houses all over it, but nothing near as nice as that. 😎

Speaking of Mexican food......ate at On the Border for dinner tonight......we were going to see a movie but nothing really good to watch.

Their serving was so big!!! They weren't as good as Chevy's though.

M5 vs. Lexus 450H....that actually is a hard decision...one that I hope to make some day.
-Dr. P.

The only Lexus I like is the older GS300s and 400s. Maybe the new IS, still hasn't fully grown on me. They're not sporty enough imo. It needs to have a manual transmission. 👍

My friends went to Chicago last May and had some pizza there. They didn't know how big the pizzas would be so they had an appetizer. These are big guys (like 200-300) so they easily out-eat me at 155. They couldn't finish. They said the slices were literally inches thick. And it seemed like a whole inch of cheese!!!

Gino's East is the best. uno's is ok.

Yeah, chicago-style is deep-dish crust with tons of cheese, toppings, and then sauce on top.

A lot of younger people go out there to work at the Banff Springs Hotel. I think that would be pretty cool to go live there for like a year. But it's also very touristy though. That would probably get to me after a while

I haven't driven a stick in 10 years. Do you forget or is it like riding a bike?

That place tried suing my friend's dad's place about 10 years ago. He had a place here in Orlando in a popular shopping mall in the food court called On the Border. They told him to change the name or they'd press for legal action. He changed it to En La Frontiera or something like that (On the Border, again, lol!!).

Don't know. I first drove automatic for 2 years, but the last 4 have been manual (almost 4). Never taken a break and every car I purchase from here on out will be manual. If not, I'll do a conversion on it. 🙂

on man....yeah was they weren't as good as Chevy's, imo.

Like riding a bike. A bike with a steering wheel and a clutch.

Oh good to know. Next car I wanna get is manual......not getting a car anytime soon, though. I just don't wanna mess it up when test driving it.

Yeah manual is definitely more fun to drive....but sux during traffic though.

Near the lake is typically a lot cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than the outer-lying suburbs.

Yea, similiar to Cali. I know some people who live close to the ocean that have monthly electric bills of $29...no a/c ever. Always in the 60s, wow.

I was wondering about Chicago because it would always be on the weather channel in here in FL. 100 degree summers and insane winters with heavy winds.

@ Molly and Rad,

I'm doing fine. It's the first week of classes this semester, but so far nothing too difficult.

Let's hope the excitement overshadows the fear Molly...I'm sure you'll be fine.

Gas mileage doesn't differ between the two with the cars made today, so I am sticking to the automatic. Well, actually the car I have has some weird automatic/manual hybrid for passing.

It should be easier to service and therefore cheaper. 🙂 You could even do it yourself if you wanted. Also a little more pick up when you give it some gas because there isn't that torque-converter delay autos have. You also have a little more power being putting on the ground because auto trannies have more hp loss. 🙂

That place looks really nice.

It's gorgeous. The pic doesn't do it justice. I just remember eating at the golf course and one of the waiters said it was quite common for elk to walk through the golf course. Apparently, they can qet quite protective of their young :scared:
