are you allowed to wear headphones/earplugs during the test?

Most likely NOT your own headphones. There should be a set of isolating headphones there for you to use for audio questions and to help keep noise out.
Though some of us did bring our own set of foam ear plugs as they're more comfortable than wearing headphones the whole time. Check and make sure but you should still be able to bring those, just not your own headphones.
