So are we able to prescribe our own meds (yes I realize that they cannot be opioids), but for regular meds, are we able to prescribe ourselves meds? Also can be read our own TB tests normally or do we have to have someone else read them?

Sorry I don't know where else to post this question.

No (yes) and no.

Yes, you can prescribe your own meds. But, do not get in the habit of prescribing your own meds, or those of a family member. Just don't. As a physician you'll have easy access to health care -- find someone to prescribe your meds for you.

You cannot read your own TB test. Sure, you "can", but chances are your institution won't take your word for it. Chances are they'll want it read by occ med.
