😱When I was in undergrad here we had 2 weeks of -40 F with high winds and blowing snow. Some professors cancelled classes, but not all.
I remember my senior year of high school (in Oklahoma) we got a couple days off school because the highs were in the single digits, not accounting for wind chill. There wasn't any snow or ice, they just decided it was too cold for kids to be standing at the bus stop.I like snow, but not when I have to drive in it. Right now they're calling for snow here on Saturday, and I'm supposed to drive home for break on Monday, but the forecast is just for 1-3" so that should be plenty of time for the highways to be cleared.
Luckily I live a mile away from school, so if we get a big snowstorm next semester but classes aren't canceled, I can just walk.
Figured it out, corrected my math, and suddenly I can breathe again. Hehe.
