You can't not like it either though, so go try it. 😛

Never said I didn't like it... just that the chocolate jif picture looked nasty. Actually, the thought of any chocolate nut spread of any kind sounds nasty, so if that is what nutella is, I am not going to spend my money on it. 🙂

That is just pure silliness... you have to at least try it you big goof

Fine, but if I don't like it... I demand your address so that I can mail it to you so that my money doesn't go to waste. 🙂

DMVDream, do you like Snickers, peanut M&Ms? Or just about any candy bar? That's chocolate and nuts. ( I do agree, the JIF picture looked unappetizing)

I love Nutella and just found out last week that our local Dollar Store(most things are NOT a dollar, but whatever) sells it. 😍

Nutella pancake sandwiches for on-the-go breakfast. YUM (the pancakes are cold, made the day before then refridgerated). Makes the healthy bran/oat pancakes taste really good. 😉

Really, you can't compare a Snickers or Peanut M&Ms to a chocolate nut spread. Chocolate + nuts mixed into an ooey, gooey, glumpy mess is disgusting, IMO. Having nuts in choclate where both products are not a gooey mess is completely different.

Choclate and nuts does not = chocolate nut spread.

I'm flying over to Spain this Sunday and my stomach is already in knots. I'm super excited for the vacation aspect but completely stressing about the flight. I have serious flight anxiety :scared:

ugh thats miserable :-/ i developed serious flying anxiety when i started coming here (never an issue before and i had flown dozens of times!). one of these days i should get an actual prescription for something or other, but for now i've resorted to taking 50mg of benedryl before boarding time. sometimes i get to sleep the whole flight, sometimes i just get to feel really relaxed haha. (1 doesnt touch me like it normally does) -->substance abuse 🙄

I have discovered that there is no benadryl in the UK, they do not allow it here.... Kind of makes me sad because that stuff is amazing when you need it.

what??? can you get dimenhydramate? because we can get that here (my friend needed anti-motion sickness med here and the woman knew enough to say it wasn't diphenhydramine (benedryl) but not enough to know that its basically its sister:laugh:)

I tried asked a pharmacist if they had any bendadryl/diphenhydramine and was told that they do not allow it because it causes drowsiness...

We were looking for it when I first got here because my mom was getting sick and we just found a different antihistamine and she used that. She said it was ok but benadryl definitely works better.

I despise flying ... though short flights I can handle. Going to Spain is 3 flights, about 18 hours of total travel time. I met with my doctor last week and he prescribed me clonazepam (same family as valium). Thank gooooodness ... but I'm still nervous 🙁

 If you really don't like it, make birdseed pinecone feeders with it. 👍 They love it.

I couldn't do this. My flat is directly on the street and I really don't want bird **** right outside the flat. Besides, I don't think that is the best thing for birds to be eating not to metion that I refuse to spend money to buy birdseed.

👍👍It should knock you out. Makes you feel like you had a few drinks🙂

Even that amount? Boo. (don't know much about wild birds ) Sooooo many people use nutella instead of peanut butter. Good to know. 👍

If you consider how much they actually would eat it probably wouldn't kill them but it's just better not to give it at all.

I used to love flying until these 9-11 hour flights happened regularly. Especially with my sister close by who never shuts up. Lol

I don't mind flying so much, I just get pretty sick of the layovers between my flights...especially when I already have to be there about 2 hours before my first flight...that means I'm spending all day in either an airport or an airplane. :d

Tell me about it ... I'm flying from San Diego to Dallas, 1 1/2 hour layover, from Dallas to Madrid, 1 1/2 hour layover, then from Madrid to Jerez. Total of 18 hours all by myself :scared:

I'd prefer to fly that on my own! 🙂 I hate having someone else to pay attention to in airports.

We usually need to be at the airport two hours before the flight (supposed to at least), so that makes it even worse.. Ugh.

I hate flying.... despise it..... my flight back to LA is 13 hours - that is just the flight time - not with layovers or hanging out at the airport before.... ugh.......I feel like ****e in a plane.... it just sucks.... and I can rarely sleep - so I am just waiting for the hours to pass.....

I feel really uncomfortable sleeping in front of people I don't know. So I'm taking a portable DVD player and the last season of Dexter to watch ... As well as my schoolwork to study/work on and my kindle. Hopefully that's enough to keep me occupied. I get there at 1 pm Spain time and told my husband in advance not to expect anything of me!!

ugh thats quite a trip!! i'm TERRIBLE at sitting still for long periods of time. 4 hour stretches of class are bad enough and i'm constantly shifting and changing position!

i used to never ever be able to sleep anywhere that wasnt my bed, but then i developed a seemingly incurable disease (sleep debt 😉 ) and now i can sleep anywhere, any time for as long as i possible can

If anyone is feeling particularly generous, please consider donating to the Grenada Goat Project - they're trying to get funding to build a small extension sustainable goat farm at one of the local schools to help teach children farming and sustainability. The country is heavily based on agriculture, very poor, and still recovering from hurricane Ivan that destroyed 95% of the island back in 2005. 🙂 At the very least, the video is cute and a neat look at the island 🙂

I always take ativan when I fly. Works like a charm. I sleep on and off the whole flight, makes me totally relaxed, but I can still mostly think when I'm actually up moving around.
The one thing I can't do is have layovers. If I do that I always get super sick and vomit the whole second flight. Not a good time.

That's interesting, any idea why you get so sick on the second flight?

I LOVE flying! (Well, only in planes. I basically refuse to ever get in a helicopter--those things terrify me.)

I have always wanted to take flying lessons, it's just those silly little things called time and money that have prevented me.

I'll teach you!
Oh, but I have no time and no plane.

No idea. I'm not sure if it's something like my stomach can only handle one take-off or what. It definitely isn't the length of the flight, because earlier this year I flew to Dublin which is 6-7 hours without a problem. But then 2 years ago I went to Costa Rica and had a layover in Atlanta. I was absolutely fine for the first leg of each flight, but vomited violently the second flight. Not a good time.
The again I did have the Ativan for the Dublin trip. Hm....

OMG! What a cutie piggy! I totally dig swine. 😍

Now, I know this is going to sound insane, but I kind of miss my little mouse friend. He came back again last night to watch TV and play hide & seek before I set up a couple of traps. Then, this morning, when I let him go in the small park across the street, he actually stopped and turned back to look at me a couple of times before he hopped away. It almost felt like he was saying thanks for letting him roam. His sister on the other hand did NOT want to go... She held onto the trap for dear life; and when I finally shook her out I swear she gave me a dirty look before she hopped out of the park and into the street making a B line for the houses across the way. What a diva! 🙄

Just reset the traps. Here's hoping both are empty in the morning! :xf:
