I gotta say it brings me immeasurable joy that Em shares in my love of these things

They're so awkward and creepily hilarious, I don't know how people can't laugh when they see them.

:lame: Oh no. I just realized I have been letting you guys see how weird I really am......
Oh no. Abney is showing her true colors. We had absolutely no idea about this before. What has happened. Where has this strange enthusiasm come from.

Aaaand end robotic monotone. Pretty sure everyone here is weird!

For real... and um... we aren't "just now" figuring it out btw... we've known you're weird for quite some time 😉

It happened in untero. She gave birth to it like that. They were thinking toxo maybe so they culled mama.
That's both extremely interesting and sad at the same time. Poor mama sheep. Biology is crazy.

Here's my sick pup... life is rough 🙄

I did and here I am. I want to squeeze that kitten until it's eyes pop out, just sayin....

My immediate thought when looking at your ?mastiff? pup was that his eyelids look so droopy, but lo and behold the description... You have an adorable menagerie Em!!!!! 😍😍

So, um. I just started reading The Art of Racing in the Rain. I may have cried for a few hours as I read it last night.

His eyelids are still just as droopy (he wasn't doped up here, I just meant his cherry eye is gone now). Yeah he is a mastiff/pit and she is a boxer/sharpei. They are my heart 😍

We got him from a rescue that saved him the morning of his scheduled euthanasia. He was 9 months old and the owners claimed that he was "dog aggressive". My female is insanely submissive, so I thought I would give it a try as even the rescue owner thought it was a bunch of bologna. The day we were supposed to pick him up, he ended up in the hospital with his entire ear slit open from the other dog he was living with. We were slightly hesitant to take him...
He is the sweetest dog in the entire world. He is the best snuggler ever, loves to play with my old girl, thinks my lap is his only safe spot, buries his head in my chest, rolls over for belly rubs... just the sweetest thing ever. Everyone teases now that he is "so aggressive" every time he snuggles someone 🙄.
It makes me really sad to think his sweet butt could be 6 feet under right now 🙁

😍 Awww. That is really sweet. People really piss me off sometimes.

Not sure if this is a rant or a rave, but going to Princeton this afternoon with MrsSOV to pick up keys for her apartment.

She starts class later this month. About to enter a very strange phase of life.

My bike literally flipped over on top of me on my ride home today.

Yikes 🙁 It's when things like this happen that I firmly believe the work day is over and the drinking portion of your day begins. I hope you're okay!

That sucks. You guys will live close enough to visit most weekends?

Lots of people on the forums here have done a LDR thing for a bit, and you guys are definitely awesome enough to make it through. In a way, weekend visits are nice - it gives you something to look forward to, which has always helped me keep going.

I agree. You can pretty much see them when you want to (I say that loosely), don't have to see them when you don't, and the time you do spend together is more fun and cherished. I'm about to be 1,000 miles from mine. We were long distance when he was in the military and I'm actually looking forward to it again 😳

Yeah, I agree. It does keep you going, looking forward to seeing them again 🙂
When I'm away at college, I only get to see my bf on the weekends, so I know how it is. Let me tell you, it does make me work harder and study more during the week.
