Chris Pratt. Hands down.
He was adorable before (see pic below). Now he's drool-worthy. 😍

I hadn't seen or heard of him until Guardians of the Galaxy and I instantly had a celebrity crush during that whole opening, lip-syncing sequence. lol.

My personal fave. Suits get me:

I finally went through my belongings and pulled out stuff I want to get rid of. Now, I need to get rid of it quickly before I change my mind about any of it and put it back in the closets (which I have a bad habit of doing).

Fell asleep on the couch. Had a dream my rabbit was hungry. Woke up and my rabbit was hungry. Obviously this means I'm psychic... or that my rabbit is hungry so frequently that this knowledge has seeped into my unconscious mind manifesting as dreams. Nope, I'm psychic.

Chris Pine.
Shemar Moore
Chris Evans
Colin O'Donoghue

There are a few.
I always get Chris Pine and Chris Evans mixed up. It's a little easier now that I can remember one is in Star Trek and one is Captain America, but I still have to think for a second. 😛

Seconding (thirding? fourthing?) the Chris Pratt love.

Just love for all the Chrises! lol. I crush on all three. And my man's name is Chris. 😉

I'm always fascinated by what people think is appropriate party etiquette. A girl I know from back home was stopping by her parents' house for the holidays. She put out an open invitation for friends to join her and her parents for a steak and pasta dinner (backyard grill type affair). The cost: $7 per person and BYOB.

To me, that is just tacky. This wasn't a fundraiser. It's one thing to make it a potluck and expect people to bring a food dish, but to outright shake them down for money at the door is so declasse.

It reminds me of brides/grooms that charge people who miss their wedding. I personally feel that kind of thing should be budgeted for. For this backyard BBQ, I agree, it's kind of tacky to ask for money rather than a shared food item.

Wait, you mean some couples will "bill" people who RSVP they're attending and then don't end up coming for the cost of the food?!

I know catering is expensive, but if you choose to have an expensive wedding, and the extra $200 you ended up spending from a few people who didn't come is enough to break the bank, you should probably rethink your plans.

That's just so weird to me!

Ooh dude, you have to Google some of the stories!! Talk about bridezillas.

I look at it from a personal risk type thing. You but x amount of food for Y amount of people for any party you have. It doesn't matter if it's new year's and you spend 200 on booze for 20 people or 500 on food for 100 people at a wedding. Stuff happens! If you want to throw a big fancy party for yourself, you've got to pay up

I have to work tomorrow from 10 to 2 so I'm staying in and having a party for one watching the Doctor Who marathon (the rabbit is here too, I guess). As a consolation to formal social activities, I did buy/make baklava, egg rolls, and margaritas though. I also cleaned up on discounted holiday chocolates at TJ Maxx today. So all that's missing from my NYE is awkward conversation with tipsy strangers and real pants.

This sounds like an excellent night in...especially the baklava and no real pants part.

I also have to work tomorrow (10 to 5) so I went to an earlyish dinner with a long-time friend, had great Mexican food and nice conversation, then went to the bf's house and watched some Buffy. Now I'm home and about to pass out. Happy New Year everyone 🙂

So who else has watched Dr. Dee: Alaska Vet on Animal Planet? Seems a lot more legit than Dr. Pol, that's for sure. I ask cause I'm watching an episode where they air lift a horse that got inured while hunting and the horse's reaction to being lifted up made me giggle (though I do feel bad for the horse).

Husband gets a trivia question on his phone about which species doesn't carry rabies and asked for my help. So I tell him that it is the opossum and he goes "an animal so gross even rabies wants nothing to do with it."

made me laugh

😱😱😱😱

You must show him this video!!

I think they are adorable 😍Our ambassador opossum is super sweet. The baby babies are also super sweet!!

I've watched her! She seems pretty legit to me, too.

I really like Dr. Oakley: Yukon Vet on NatGeo as well. Love her sense of humor - she cracks me up. 😀

I don't think I get NatGeo on my campus, so I haven't seen Oakley. But I've enjoyed Dee so far. She's a lot like the mobile vet I worked for.

Haven't seen Dr. Dee but I LOVE Dr. K on nat geo wild!

Just wait until you are seeing a good sam possum with maggots coming out of it's eye as it hisses at you. They are not "cute" adults. And the experience makes them less so.
I dunno man, there are a lot of ugly babies out there...
Ok, I amend that to mammalian species after the initial week.

Our ambassador opossum is an adult, and I still think he's cute. Lol. I've seen a corgi with maggots growing inside a huge sore on his mouth and in ear, but I still think corgis are cute too.

We had an opossum brought in who was HBC and DOA and COVERED in fleas, but her babies were still alive in her pouch. They all grew up to be adorable babies and then juveniles before they were released! Love them!

I love opossums and the bigger they are the cuter I think they are. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

There's just something about them. I especially love it when they hiss.

If I could take some sort of native wildlife and make it a pet, it would for sure be a possum. Black vulture is a close second.

To each their own. I do not find them cute in the slightest as adults. However, I will still treat them.
