I've seen collections of very old Tweets from the start of twitter that were written the same way! So I assume their original format was similar to old facebook, because those tweets just look ridiculous now.
 
I don't have a Facebook. I refuse.

My anonymity went down the pooper in 2012. I can't blend in anywhere. It would take all of you a grand total of 10 minutes to find me on the interwebs.

I got mine in 2007, I believe, but used my .mil email for it. Back before the government blocked all the fun stuff from their computers
 
I just went way down the rabbit hole and added a bunch of you that I was pretty sure I knew who you were.... I think it's pretty obvious from my username what my first name is, so hopefully I didn't creep anyone out 😛

I figured that was you, but then I thought you were saying you weren't FB friends with people so I was all, "Who is this person?" And then I realized I was talking to myself and on FB and SDN when I need to be finishing a stupid swine production assignment and decided to put the mystery on hold... so thanks for clarifying! :heckyeah:

Me too! Facebook was a grand experimental College to college communication system. Only certain private schools were being given access (no idea why ours was one of the first) I tried to opt out but an English professor wanted to see the effects on our prose if we spoke about ourselves in real time. Getting so old...

You guys are making me feel extra old. lol
Facebook did not exist when I was in college. Cell phones were barely widespread, and pagers were still a thing.

Yeah, I got my first cell phone in college and was one of the few the first 2 years. (Facebook began in 2004. I signed up Junior year)
 
I see that I've been found by both caiter and STB. 😛

I think I've figured who several of you guys are at this point by combing through mutual friends. Don't be surprised if you get another friend request soon. 😉
 
My friend requests are still empty. Either I've been less obvious than I thought or people just don't want to be friends with me. 😉
 
I just spent ten minutes trying to find w2vm online. I found nothing. Even with the clues about the year and the charity logo from the creative forum. I'm really awful at this game.

Bahaha, I'm off the grid. There's not much of me online, but Googling a few key terms from my posts on SDN would definitely pull up something.
 
FYI my pic is of me & my beautiful dog, if anyone gets a request. I was also formerly part of the Tacobell clan so that's in the url for my page, but fb made me change it.

Welcome to my life 😛. As an aside, me and BI have no clue who one of the people that added us is, which I guess is to be expected with the bombardment I and others got 😛

Aha! I think I've found you! Either that, or I sent a friend request to someone completely random who happens to go to Mizzou lol.
 
Well, finally got the email today that I am no longer in consideration for Disney. I am not too disappointed though because at least it didn't end up taking til the end of the month after all, and now I can look forward to hearing back from the Aquarium without worry! :heckyeah: Will keep an eye out for other internships too (fellow TX people, hit me up if you know of any in-state or nearby opportunities, particularly those that offer housing and/or stipend)

In Sync Exotics in Wylie has some sort of internship. They are a sanctuary for big cats. It's near Dallas. Not sure where in TX you are.

Thank you, I'll look them up! I'm in south Texas/coastal bend, but am fine going pretty far for an internship as long as housing is an option and it is either in-state/not TOO far a trip (not wanting to worry about renting/paying for a temporary place, especially if it's an unpaid internship, so some big 'ships like Houston Zoo's were a no go for me).
