It actually amazed me how easy it was to find some people once I knew where to look and here I thought I was too obvious with my username.

Technically was a room in a house but... "Should I expect to one day come home to find a roadkill deer being butchered on the dining room table?"

Really really. Technically I was warned about it beforehand. The first text I got that day was along the lines of "Don't open the door to the downstairs bathroom, there are bloody knives in the shower and I don't want the dogs to get to them" Our landlady was interesting...

For my last place, it would have been nice to know what the turnover rate was on other renters. For me that high turnover rate meant lots of clogged up parking and loud and messy housewarming/moving parties at the end of every quarter and semester.

I feel like this was not the first "interesting" thing she did, because I'm pretty sure I would have thought my land lady was a serial killer if I had received that text and never come home again...

Oh that thought definitely crossed my mind. I texted my roomie to see if she knew what was going on since she was home, she had no idea (and she was pretty freaked out), so I texted the landlady back to ask what had happened. Then I got the story about the deer and she told me her friends would be helping butcher it that evening.

Ahh, I thought I was going crazy because I saw a post from you in another thread and didn't recognize your username or avatar, but saw you've made 800 posts. Now it all makes sense!

Also fun fact, @WildZoo is currently at exactly 18,000 posts. :bow:
 
I like the Naked and Afraid episodes in which sexist guys get their asses handed to them by more skilled women. The tantrums are amusing.

Oh, you haven't eaten for week but you're going to refuse some fish because a woman caught it? You'll show her.

That's one of the shows where I know it's mostly crap TV but I watch it anyway. That and Catfish... and the occasional show on TLC...

I didn't even notice! Aw, and it's my 3rd SDN anniversary today 🙂 so 6,000 posts a year...huh, fewer posts per day than I thought :laugh:

(We won't mention that I didn't really start posting here frequently until I had already had my account for year)

Man, all these peeps changing names. Idek what I'd change mine to, I've had this name foreeeeever.
 
Clients come in with their indoor/outdoor cat just for routine check-up to get dewormer and flea meds for her.
Him: I gotta question. If worms are so bad, how come all those strays are running around and they don't get dewormed and they don't die! Tell me that!
Me: It's like you living with a head cold. You can, but you feel lousy.
Him:...I guess that sounds right.
The rest of the appointment went swimmingly, and he complimented me on my exam. :laugh:

Yeah, WW counts for most of my posting.

Also, @WildZoo will fast surpass my posting as she has more posts/year than I do.

As much as I "talk" on here, I am basically the exact opposite in real life. I am very quiet.
