Just curious if anyone thinks it's a good idea to rank a program twice...in other words if there's a program you really want to go to should you rank, say the 4 yr program at #1, and the 3-year program at #2, or vice-versa. Is this a wise decision? Or are you unecessarily occupying a space on your rank list? Programs with both 3 and 4 yr programs rank applicants separately for both??

YES. Programs with both C and A have two ranklists, as I have been told.. so rank them both

Not only that but if applicants all want an advanced spot then that will fill up first and if you don't have both you would get bumped (assuming your ranked lower).
