I was researching how many FL are out there, and I came across this list on Reddit. According to it there are around 49 FL tests available right now. Can someone rank them in order of quality? The highest on the top. I know AAMC's two tests will be highest on the list.

Here is the list:

AAMC Official MCAT2015 Sample Test

AAMC Practice Exam 1 (with scoring!)

Altius Test Prep: 10 from their website

Barron's: 2 from their prep book

The Berkeley Review: 3 from their website

ExamKrackers: 4 from their website

Gold Standard: 7 from their website (2 come with purchase of the question pack)

Kaplan: 1 from the Advanced 528 book and 3 from the Complete 7-book set for a total of 3 unique tests (The FL that comes with the 528 book also comes with the 7-book set)

MCAT Cracker: 3 from their website

McGraw Hill: 2 from their FL book

NextStep: 5 from their website

The Princeton Review: 4 from the Complete MCAT book and 3 from any of their prep books for a total of 7 unique tests (there is one overlap between the Complete MCAT tests and their prep book tests)

TOTAL FL PRACTICE EXAMS: 49

Thanks for starting this thread! Quick question- when I see people mention "AAMC FL 3-11", are they referring to full lengths for the old exam?

Correction on TBR - there are actually 4 practice exams available right now.

I've taken TPR, Kaplan, EK and TBR for the new exam. I found TPR and Kaplan to be of similar difficulty/quality (but I took them ages ago when I first started studying so idk how that would change now that it's been months of study later) - way too focused on content but not similar to the type of questions AAMC asks in terms of critical thinking. Good for nailing down content questions, not so much for getting into the flow of the real exam. I liked EK, I took all 4 and found them to be pretty similar, albeit slightly more tricky. I think their CARS section is the least similar (I scored WAY lower on EK exams than I did on any of the AAMC question packs/practice exams).
I just took TBR 1 (though I purchased all 4) and am pretty unimpressed and kind of regret buying them (you can't buy just one - either all 3 or all 4. Should've gone with 3). None of the sections feel that similar to the AAMC passages, but ESPECIALLY the psych/sociology section. I had to double check to make sure I was on the right section, because it reads just like another psych-focused CARS section with basically NO research/stats questions. I don't know if it improves with the other practice exams (I can report back!) but I'm feeling pretty meh about them at the moment.

So my ranking would be: AAMC >>>>>> EK >>> TBR = Kaplan = TPR

To each his/her own but I'm gonna go ahead and say that that's some extreme overkill and a recipe for burnout.
I have some time. Not gonna take the MCAT till April 2017. Plus I have a very low gpa. I need to kill the MCAT.
