I was just curious if anyone can shed light on how to rank programs for IM if they have offered you an interview but historically are not DO friendly (ie. Scripps Green, Cedars Sinai). Would it hurt putting them near the top of your rank list? If anyone has heard anything or advice it would be appreciated 🙂 thanks.

Of course if they have never taken a DO before, you might want to pass. Plenty of good places to apply that have taken DOs
Wrong. The match doesn't hurt you for ranking places that may seem impossible

Of course it won't hurt you for ranking them, you just won't match there. That was my point, not that it would hurt you for ranking them. Our local Uni has never taken a DO and I was told they never would. So why bother ranking them at all?

Because you like it there, and there's always a chance you'll be the first to match. If it hurt you in any way, don't rank, but since it doesn't, why wouldn't you? It's like getting a free lottery ticket. Probably won't win, but if I do, at least I have it
