Thanks !😉 !

As I'm sure you'll find by doing a search of previous threads, it is very hard to rank the various schools. They all have a different focus and each has its own merits. Which schools are you interested in. Some produce almost all primary care docs, others produce high numbers of specialists. As for board scores and residency match lists, I think you need to go to the individual schools.

Good luck,

Russell

Depends on what you are ranking schools on. Check out my thread on what factors go into picking a school. You want a school that is taylored to you and not the people working for US World and News anyway... right?🙄

#1 PCOM
#2 19 other DO schools

🙂

Just my opinion.

As an objective unbiased statement, supported by facts, figures, journal citations, and rumors

It is the conclusion of the International Union of Pure and Applied Osteopathic Medicine (IUPAOM)

#1 - PCOM
#2 - 19 other DO schools

Why?

1. PCOM has a 110% first time pass rate
2. All their MS-IV students are placed in either neurology, dermatology, orthopedics, or ENT residencies (some against their will)
3. Elective Rotation at Star Fleet Medical
4. Dorm rooms are located at the Hilton, Sheraton, Adams Mark Hotel, etc.
5. Between lectures, a full service massage is available, complements of the Osteopathic Manipulation Department
6. PCOM employs the use of English Soccer Holligans to roam the country and "talk" to people who believe that their school is better than PCOM
7. All first year students are taught "anything you can do, I can do better" song
8. Mandatory 2 hour nap time in the afternoon
9. PCOM med students groupies
10. All 3rd year students get a "BE-AN-ATTENDING-FOR-A-DAY" ticket to all major hospitals in the Eastern Sea Board"

All of this is completely true.

Except for #9. There are no groupies. None that have talked to me, anyway.
