I don't want to get into another poll-run, but it would be interesting to see everyone's rating. Rate a 10 for Great down to a 1 for Bad. This rating is for the usefullness of the AADSAS application system.

I'd say that they're not bad, but not good. It could definitely be improved.

I'm giving AADSAS a 10. Imagine if it didn't exist and you're applying to say 10 schools. Thats A LOT more work if AADSAS isn't around.

Of course it can be improved, but in the end, AADSAS makes applying a whole lot easier.

I gave the AASDAD a 9. Everything went pretty smoothly with my application. I applied early (mid June) and schools got my application in a few weeks. I am grateful for all the work AADSAS saved me by sending only one copy of LOR's, Transcript, personal statement.

The only reason I bumped it down is because of costs. A little pricey, but what choice do you have? Also infosource proved to be worthless.

9 overall

I can not give AADSAS a 10 because they jacked my wallet! Other then that, everything was smooth and no problem, but it took a long time to sent out to school. Sent appliction in mid September schools received in end of oct. 6 weeks; too long. I give them a generous 7.

There is always room for improvement.

Everything went very smooth with my application this year, so I gave them a 7, seems a little costly for what they actually do.

However, I think we should consider ourselves lucky (those of us who didnt have any problems). From browsing the forum last year it seemed like AADSAS was much slower than this year and in general people had a lot more problems.

I think it is aweful and any decent copier with a regular Excel would do a better job than them. THis of course not considering the volumes of applications they handle.
But one thing can be improved is a little more human involvement and less relying on machines. I was shocked to find out that they don't even check the machine print out, before they send the applications!
