As I understand, you cannot use Keq of the overall reaciton to compare speeds.
If not, can we use the Keq of the rate-determining-step to determine and compare speeds?
For example, if:
Reaction 1: Overall Keq = 10, RDS Keq= 5
Reaction 2: Overall Keq = 9, RDS Keq = 6
Can I conclude that reaction 2 is faster?
