Alright with respect to B (hold the concentration of A constant) : 2^y = 2 therefore B is 1st order.

QUESTION: How do you figure out the order for [A]???
 
compare trials 1 and 3 now.. but this time, look at how B affects rate first, then work on A. So, B increases by 4 and since it's first order, you should expect the rate to change to 4. But instead, it is at 1, so A's effect is lowering it from 4 to 1, now set up ur equation:
Since A lowered the rate from 4 to 1, and A lowers from 2 to 1:
1/2 ^ X = 1/4
x = 2
Is that correct?
