Let's say you have the reaction: 2NO (g) + O2 (g) --> 2NO2(g).
If calculating the rate of disappearance of NO2 over time, would you use the coefficient in the equation (-d[NO]/2dt or -d[NO]/dt)? Or would you only use NO's coefficient when calculating the rate for O2?
