Hey everyone,

I'm basically starting my clerkships in a week and as I try to get back into the swing of things of "medicine" in general, I can't remember jack crap. I felt like I learned all the Step 1 material real well (could recite it in my sleep, and understood all concepts, had great practice test scores, etc) and wasn't a "crammer" but now as I try to recall some stuff 3 weeks after the test, I can't remember anything. Is this pretty normal? Or am i screwed for third year, lol.

You'll be surprised at how much you actually remember once you are in the clerkship setting. What is going to help you the most right now as you start is a positive attitude. You won't get every question right on rotations, but it is a learning environment- let yourself make a few mistakes while you are least likely to hurt someone because of it 😳
