I have a q from my old chem book:

S2O8 + H20 --> 2SO4 + 1/2O2 + 2H+
Given the following data from an experiment with [S2O8]= 0.1M, in a sol'n with [H+] fixed at 0.1M determine the rxn rate law and calculate the rate constant:

t/min [S2O8]/M
------------------------
0 .1
17 0.05
34 0.025
51 0.012

the answer is

rate= (0.041/min)[S2O8]

how do they get that rate constant?

i used (0.012- .1M) / (51-0) to get the rate but i dont think thats correct.
