Thank you so much. It helps to have an amazing photographer. She also came to my house as I was getting ready and I even got to take pictures with my dog. 😍

Awesome! Your sausage looks just like mine. I love black/tan dachshunds. Mine loves to raise his eyebrows at me and give me skeptical faces.
 
I got another email about my puppy! I will get it either Saturday or Sunday, depending on when the lady with it is coming back from NY. I won't find out anything else though until about 3 days before it actually gets here..

I'm in love already! :laugh:

So my concert went awesome last night and at the end of it, the crowd cheered for an encore... I asked what they wanted to hear and one man yelled out "Sound of Music songs!".... little did this man know that I am beyond well-versed in my Sound of Music, and therefore proceeded to perform the entire Sound of Music composition consisting of 10 songs. Careful what you wish for buddy :meanie:
My mom and I used to dance around the house singing SOM songs since I was a little kid so it brought back fun memories. It was tons of fun! 😍

My 25th birthday was yesterday and it was a great day. My sister flew in from Ottawa to surprise me and I had cake at work. And today...I got accepted to vet school!!!!!!!!!! I got a call from the University of Calgary; best phone message ever 😀

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited, stunned, and amazed at the same time. I'm definitely waiting to hear from AVC first. I'm in a state of shock right now. I don't know what to do with myself 😱

whats so bad about the show? I've never seen it. I do however love the weird cat one where they guy slow blinks at the cats to introduce himself, we tried slow blinking at our cat and she totally repeated it back! cracked us up. I can't remember what channel it was on though, the guy has a guitar case full of cat toys

It's on Animal Planet. Think it's called My Cat from Hell. Might be wrong. I watch it occasionally.

Any thoughts? I watched one episode and thought his methods made a lot of sense--But obviously haven't seen any follow up on the cases. Usually it is about the owner...not the dog.

The only show I watched of his he 1) side kicked a dog because it wasn't behaving and 2) (because his methods don't work and therefore he couldn't "fix" the dog), his solution was to trade the owner her dog for one of his own...

Before I ever watched this episode, I read one of his books. Well, I tried at least. He spent the first half of the book talking about all of the celebrities he's helped and continually saying how much his methods will work if you follow them. But he never actually said what his exact methods were. It was extremely self righteous without any substance to it.

Its great to hear that they're canceling the show.
 
My own personal rave is that my finger isn't bruised today! I had a Blue and Gold Macaw chomp down on me yesterday. I was lucky enough that it was a simple bite and not a malicious one. I ended up with just a small cut in my skin instead of a broken, or missing, finger! I figured it would be black and blue today, but its fine. Yay for that.

I like the lime green one, but bf decided we needed the professional series one, and it only comes in boring colours. Still super excited about it though!

We tried to make cookies, but found bugs in the flour. 🙁 Will resume when that's remedied.
 
My parents are thinking of buying me a new car! I wasn't expecting this at all. My Dad is worried about my car breaking down now that it is out of warranty. I just hit 70k the other day. I love love my car, so it will take a lot of searching to find one to replace it. Definitely will be another Subaru. Also, I just looked up the Kelley Blue Book value and it's ~$9,000!
