Yeah, I can imagine its probably a relief!! But holy cow, I would have been ticked off if it was me and I ended up with a C just because I didn't always show up for class!🙄
 
I was pretty pissed. But now pleasantly surprised! 🙂

haha 3 pages later, thanks guys - I've been going full tilt since clinics started - trying to fit in 'life' outside of clinics is harder than outside of classes but I'm managing - running 3 times a week and still trying to play hockey sometimes.

I'm not on my first soul crushing SA Med rotation for another 2 weeks. We'll see how that goes!

Happy birthday!!

My research poster for the National Veterinary Scholars Symposium was not deleted!! I emailed myself a copy of the file to work on a different computer while at work this morning and when I tried to open it a notification popped saying the file was corrupted. This meant the entire file was blank. Nothing was on the "slide" I had worked so hard on. I got home and the file was just fine on my home computer. My first draft is finished.

Actually if OK is anything like here, the 4th years try to dump(meaning sell) everything they can to the lower classes, so you probably can be wearing her pants when she tries to sell them off.

I mean, we have had 4th years trying to sell BROKEN items. 🙄

Ditto. I roll my eyes almost every time... no one wants your broken/cheap crap! :laugh:

And half the time I just try to imagine where the heck they are moving to where they won't be needing a toaster or a hair dryer or rain boots...
 
One of my Facebook friends just used the term "douchecanoe" in a status update. Looks like Emiloo's influence is spreading to the masses! :laugh:

I just mailed in the registration for my horses first show. =D He has come so far this past year I'm ecstatic =)

My best friend from the semester I spent in Houston post-Katrina is going away for grad school and our mutual friend group is throwing her a surprise party on Tuesday. Normally I wouldn't be able to go since I'm in Louisiana, but I happen to be in Houston for the weekend visiting family and I'm going to be able to stay a little longer so I can see her off! I'm so glad they thought to invite me and super glad I can actually go. Sushi and karaoke, here I come!
 
My friend from work just gave me a nice leather recliner. When the base wouldn't fit in my car she borrowed a friend's truck to take it the extra 30 mins to my house. She's such a nice person.
 
SO's brother came over briefly tonight. First thing he did was walk up and hug me. Then when he left he said bye and that he loves me. Don't know why this struck me like it did, but omg...yay! He has always been nice to me. But he's not a very affectionate person.

So I made a delicious tomato cream sauce with this locally made hot sausage. I ate it over grilled polenta it was amazing.I've never had polenta before and I found pre made rounds in the grocery store and decided to give it a go. Soooo good! However no matter what I do I can't make homemade sautéed spinach to taste as good as you get in restaurants.

So many SDNers at Ohio State... I hope I can get in, I sense a party! (2 application cycles away though..)
 
Today was my last day at work. My favorite volunteer gave me a few cards signed by most of the other dogwalkers, an amazing cake, and a video with clips of all my favorite dogs in the past year and a half. I'm going to miss this place.
 
I completed the mud ninja 5k today! I'm bruised, sore and exhausted but it was the most exhilarating experience ever.

Congrats on the tough mudder! How was it? I have to admit though, you can't take offense to people man handling you to try get you out of mud holes:laugh: best thing I've done yet!

Have you done any other races? I just registered for a Neon Vibe 5k - I'm not ready to run the full 5k yet but there's no shame in walking :idea:
