Crack DAT Reading is pretty good.
Do a search on SDN for reading strategies, then use them in CDR and see which works best for you. I don't think there's one strategy that works best for everyone, so you sort of have to get a feel what works best for you.

Question about content of reading! The Top Scorer reading tests are all science passages, but I was reading some other threads and they alluded to a piano passage in a recent DAT.

Are the passages in the reading section all science-related (so most of the questions are finding information from the passage), or is it like the MCAT where there's like fiction and random articles, so there're questions about inference and tone?

In a related question has anybody given 101 Examcrackers reading a shot. Im done with CDR and I'm not comfortable with the numbers Im putting up. I want to get more practice but dont want to pick up EK if its not worth the money. thanks

No, not all the passages are going to be about science. I had a passage about ethics on my DAT.

I hate to say it: but just wing it. I don't think one can inherently get better at RC unless you read journal articles for the next 6 months. It's tough, but find a method that works. Search and destroy and hope for the best. If you get the dreaded passages, piano, then hope for an 18 or so. Anything below an 18 in RC is bad news -_-
