i keep hearing different things about the new Reading Comprehension section of the dat. last year, the best way to get a high score in this section was to scan for key words. now, many are saying that scanning for words isn't a good idea.

is it possible to score at least a 17 just by scanning for keywords?

Issa, for this section you need to read and understand the passages. if you get a tone question skip it and come back to it after you finished doing the rest of the questions. The question set up is different from achiever and topscore in that way, answers are not word for word in the passage, they require synthesis. However you should also be aware that the passages are easier to read with less scientific based words. Just practice practice.

can you jump from one passage to another?... as long as you stay in RC section??

thanks

yes and no...

yes, you can go to passage 2 or passage 3 when you start, without finishing passage 1.

no, you cannot jump "directly" to passage 2 or 3..
you have to go from question 1 to 2, 3, 4....by continue clicking "next"

on my test, not sure if it was intentional or simply computer's hardware problem.
there's a slight lag in between questions when i click on "next"

issa-

First, answer my PM.

Secondly, I believe there are two different views. You can see the questions on one part and the passage on the other, or you can just see one big window of the passage.
