I have a question regarding re-applicant LOR's. Is it ok to resend the same letters of LOR's? The reason I'm asking is because last cycle I applied super super late (October). Based on hear-say, I don't think that my file was even opened. So is it okay to resend the same LOR. Does the personal statement work the same way? I also took the DATs last year and the scored were ok.. So if i reapply this summer can I just put in the same scores as last year, but indicate somewhere that I'm to take the test all over (mid July). Any help will greatly be appreciated!!

^ i was wondering the same thing.. can someone reply and let us know

Based on my experience,
I had 2 of the same LOR and another 2 different ones
For personal statement,
I did minor modification to match with my current situation
For DAT,
Tell the schools that you gonna retake
Then fax the unofficial score to them, so that they can process you app
Good Luck

It was highly recommended that if you were to reapply, you should get each individual who initially wrote the letter to update the date so it doesn't appear old. This is just one extra step that shows you aren't taking anything for granted. Is it really necessary? I don't know.

You can't input any DAT information therefore anything you've already completed will show up in AADSAS. If you tell schools you are retaking the DAT, they MAY delay processing your application but who knows. I would aim to take it as soon as possible and fax them your unofficial score report. I would also contact the dean of admissions either before or after the new DAT with appropriate verbiage.
