Re-Applicant Personal Statement ----Question???

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The general consensus I see on this forum is that if a committee didn't like your credentials the first time, they should have changed. I would definitely make small edits. If you found out from your first round of applications that your personal statement was a distinct weakness, I would re-write completely/overhaul what you have.

You're not forced to submit the same exact PS from last cycle. Personally, I'd make some changes reflecting on how you improved from last cycle and have professors, friends, family, etc. proofread it and give you advice as well. It doesn't have to be completely redone, or you can just leave it as is. Plus, I don't think schools would keep a copy of it from last cycle.
