Hey guys I know there are many of us out there! What have you done to better your application? This could very well turn out to be a very informative thread for those looking to better their application! Also how is everyone's cycle going this time around? I know @HookahLungs is on fire this year!

I did more shadowing with different specialists, continued volunteering, finally took the DAT, and applied a lot earlier. This cycle is coming along much better.

Wait Feralis I thought you got in dental school a long time ago. Your DAT score is amazing and I am a bit surprise that you didn't get in

For this cycle: I earn a master's degree, retook the DAT, did research, and got better LORs.

I did a few things also,

1. Raised my GPA
2. Volunteered a lot as a dental assistant at a free clinic
3. Started a tutor service
4. Started working as a CNA
5. Also I will have my bachelors degree this time around

So far so good! Stats below

I wish! Didn't take the DAT until this past May so I was ineligible for admission in my previous attempt.

How's school going?
Very fast pace, a lot of materials. I'm taking 2 classes (science and dental classes at the same time - block schedule) and also Sim Lab. Exams and quizzes errr week.

I did more shadowing, continued volunteering, retook my DAT, and became more independent with a full time job.
