Have you ever considered working/moonlighting in a VA ER? You would get plenty of geriatric medicine without having to do another 3-4 year residency. You also get to avoid trauma surgical cases--I am assume you are not too interested in this if you are an internist with an interest in geriatrics. You will also still be making decent money without having to go back to a resident's salary.

It is true but I am lacking Peds, ob/gyn and minor trauma...............thats why I am interested in residency. Also If you interested to work in ER then you need to prepare for any one who enter the ER door. Also VA facility no available every where.
