I took the DATs in june and was not too happy with my score. (AA17) I have barely been studying since then bc I am just so discouraged. Now classes have started and I am a senior and have an intense schedule and work. When is the latest you would recommend me taking the DATs and still have a chance this cylce. Am I too late? I figured I could shoot for a date that isn't too late in the cycle and take it if I feel prepared, or else just wait till next cycle to take it and apply again. Thanks for any advice =)

Oh, and I did already apply for this cylce with my old score but told the schools I am planning on retaking them so they dont just reject me right away.

if u told them ur gonna reatake it, then U HAVE To retake it.. that looks really bad if u don't cuz they may have held off on ur rejection (although 17 is not necessarily bad - depends on ur GPA, extra curr, job shadowing etc). i'd say retake it cuz it is not late at all..some people are taking it mid sept - early october so don't push it pass oct.. but like u said, u have such a busy schedule so is there a way u can stop work for a while for hardcore studying?u HAVE to do well if u gonna do it a 2nd time..like MAJOR improvement, i'd say fo rthe 20's. good luck.!
