how strict is the rule about re-taking BCPM classes at formal post-bac programs and are some programs more lenient than others about taking classes again?

At Goucher, the rule of thumb is that if you took the class five or more years ago, you can retake it. The program directors do make exceptions to this rule, though, depending on your particular circumstances.

I don't know how it is at other formal postbacs, but I'd suspect the rules are similar. Med schools like to see that you have relatively RECENT coursework in the prerequisite areas.

in what kind of circumstances can you re-take classes if you've already taken them? the reason i ask is because at my undergrad, 2 science classes are required to graduate and i took gen chem and i don't want to be disqualified from attending a good post-bac program because of it... :/
