Do you guys know any other sources for reading comp passages?
I've done the ones provided by the kaplan class but still feel like I could benefit from some more practice. I want to save my topscore passages so that I can take them as part of the test. MCAT reading comp is not long enough, and SAT reading comp puts questions in order of the info given in the passage, so i was wondering if you guys knew any other sources.

If you read news-papers and novels a lot, you should be fine.

P.S. Read some Scientific Journals/Articles... Even if you dont understand them, try to see the format used. My RC section had an article about genetics.

after each paragraph, write down the reason the author included it in the passage.

this will make it easier to stay concentrated and help in finding stuff when answering questions.

I taught for Kaplan and I agree that Kaplan only skims the surface of reading comp. But you should realize that reading comp is mostly science related topics anyway (with maybe two or three nonscience related topics). If you're going to read "scientific papers" make sure not to forget about "non scientific sources" too. The DAT is shifting more towards BIOCHEM and MOLECULAR/GENETICS topics also. There was a topic on business investment this year, which I found interesting (and quite difficult). But good luck to you on your pursuing a better reading comp score.
