I was looking at a few reading comprehension passages for the Pcat but it seems like all of them are medical/science based. Is this always going to be true? And also it seems like they are asking for direct statments most of the time (uncharacteristic of the MCAT and even the GRE). Is this also common?

I was getting ready to do some reading comprehension passages from the MCAT and GRE to try and improve my PCAT but I dont know if this is such a good idea considering that the PCAT passages will be simplified and medical/science based.

I seem to remember most, if not all, of the passages being medical-based...although not certain. Most of the questions they ask are interpreting main ideas, not ones where you can look for the answer within the text.

would GRE and MCAT practice help?
I would use the medical/science passages in each practice book to practice your interpretation and timing.

I also agree that most if not all of the passages on the Oct. test were science based. Reading some articles in science journals may help
