I took the first two achiever test and got 20 on both the third one was more actually understanding the passage and more indepth questions. anyone who took the day know if i just skim the passage will that be alright. I don want to go into the test and be shocked. any advice would be great.

I think Kaplan does a good job on RC... It's very hard and i'm predecting it will be like the actual test.

Topscore gives you all 3 science passages, the real thing has an ethics passage at the end. I personally found the ethics one harder on my particular test just because they had 10-15 terms that all sounded the same at the end of the passage and i was lost!!!

However, the passages are diff for every test, so just be ready to pace yourself through it!

Well, you mentioned topscore in your topic and achiever in your actual post... I took the first topscore test and found the rc on the real dat to have a little more reasoning than strictly "find this phrase" type of questions. There is still a lot of that though.

On topscore, the article stays in the same position while you change questions. however, i have heard that on the real dat, everytime you go to a new question, the article resets to the first paragraph, is that true?

Kaplan RC is a better representation of the real RC than Topscore

Yup, this is true. I found this quite annoying while taking the test.
