Everyone seems to be talking about prep for the biology, chemistry, and gen chem section, but what is a good prep source for the reading comprehension section?

I head about using SAT books for this section helps?

Anyone know of any good, specific books they used with great success?

I don't really have a specific book to recommend to you. I'd suggest trying to read articles from scientific journals, so that you can speed up your reading while improving your focus and your ability to look for key words and phrases.

Hey best thing to help is scienctific articles. Everyday. To get used to the question type use Kaplan Blue Book

Amazon search for "Whimbey & Lochhead," and love me ever after for having revealed it to you. My friend's MCAT score in RC jumped 3 points just from doing the W&L drills with me from two of their books.

Either one

As a long-time SciAm subscriber, I'm a fan of their content and their level of writing, but it's *far* too simplistic to form a decent basis for practicing RC. It may be useful for ESL students, but if English is your first language, you need to go straight to the peer-reviewed literature.

And if you're practicing out of Popular Science, then you need to go back to school 😉
