Reading strategy for piano, crocodiles, ethics, and floating bridge?

Hi,
I'm a first time poster, but a long time reader. From what I have read about reading comprehension, most of you guy use search and destroy for passages such as aspirin and cell signaling. However, you guy also mentioned that search and destroy doesn't work for passages like piano, crocodiles, ethics, and floating bridge. For those passages, what are your strategy? Carefully read the passage and then answer the question? Also does those passage include lots of tone questions? Thanks.

I bet it saves you tons of time by asking everybody to post their methods/comments here so that you don't need to look up/search every single threads to find your answers. kinda like asking everybody to deposit their money into one checking account. How convenience, never thought of that!

i s n' d both spinal cord and epidemiology. But i think i got a little hit on pontoon bridges. it had more true/false double questions. it was annoying😳

Well, I did look for other posters comments about reading strategy, but I didn't find much success. Beside from what I have read about those passages, it scared me, so I just want to have some sort of strategy when I encountered them.

I didn't say I didn't find much success finding strategy on certain passages. It the passages that give many people so much trouble such as crocodiles, piano, etc. that I'm worry about. I'm just want to ask other members how they handle these passage. Also why are you being so hostile? I'm not lazy, I did look for other posts before asking this question.

i also s&d for croc (and the rest of the passages) and did well (25/98%). you just need to be able to scan quickly and carefully.

honestly, it comes down to practice. decide on a method, STICK WITH IT, and practice!!!

Did anyone attempt SnD on these "hard" passages and get totally owned? SnD is the only strategy I've practiced and if it doesn't work, I'm not sure what to do. Maybe skip the "hard" passage, SnD the other 2 then go for the 3rd one last?

People put too much emphasis on "methods." Honestly, if SnD doesn't work, its not like you don't know how to actually READ. If you can't SnD... then just read. You've been doing it for 20+ years.
