This has nothing to do with SDN....well, maybe it does....

There's a pretty cool add-in to Chrome called Readline. It's a program that takes highlighted text and breaks it down into single words that flash on the screen (serial reading). You can literally read the long and annoying 2000 word SDN posts in a few minutes time.

There's also a company doing it for cell phones.
 
I always thought Spreeder was fun to play with...you can set the size of your chunks as well as the speed. Only issue is that the starting point of the lines changes with the length of the chunk, so that can mess with you. I like seeing how fast I can get it. On single-word I max out around 800 or so for normal text, 700 or so for actual articles/passages.
