Hey guys,

I have a question about the difficulty between the actual DAT and Kaplan Full Length Exams. A friend told me the actual test is a lot easier. Is that true??? 🙂

I thought it was easier.

Yes, it;s pretty much true...but if you go to the DAT discussion forum you'll find about five threads about this topic and another 500 in the archives in case you want to know more.

My PAT and QR scores on the real thing were the exact same as they were on Kaplan Blue Book.

My BIO and Chem scores went up on the real DAT and my O-chem went down a point. RC seemed easier on the real DAT but I also adopted the "road map" method so that helped.

Actual overall test is way easier then Kaplan.

I'll break it down for you.

BIO - Easier then Kaplan.
GC - Easier then Kaplan.
OC - Easier then Kaplan.
RC - About the same.
QR - About the same.
PAT - Way harder.

Your scores should all go up with the exception of PAt. That will go down. Mine went down 6 points.
