Real DAT VS practice one

oh wow...i didn't know ADEA gave out practice tests....

One more practice test for me. Thanks!

P.S. Sorry I can't help you with your question

Cheers

Thanks for the practice test!

From what I've heard from others who have taken the DAT, the sample on the ADA's website is way easier than the real thing. I took that sample test when I began to study and was relieved at first. Then I started getting into Kaplan, the Destroyer, and other practice tests that the people on here say are much more representative of the actual DAT. The ADA's sample seems much more simplistic even just comparing to their outline of topics they say you need to know. It would be nice if they actually correctly represented the level of difficulty on their own website, but I guess it's more of a way to familiarize you with the overall format. And as I have not taken the real DAT yet myself, I am only speculating. I would prepare for a much broader scope and higher level of difficulty than the ADA's sample though....

i thought the real DAT seemed to be about the same difficulty as the practice one they gave us. The hard thing about it is that there is huge range of material covered and you need to answer like 95% of the questions correctly for a good score.

hi everyone~

Real one was a bit harder on bio, gchem, and organic section but the pat one was easier

hope it helps
