I was seriously considering the Wake Forest Early Acceptance Program, however, I am very confused about their requirements. On one portion of their website, they state that a 3.5 cGPA and a 3.5 sGPA are required for this program, but on another, they state that a 3.5 cGPA and 3.5 sGPA are required for each semester. Does anyone know which it is? I meet the first criteria (with an upward GPA trend).
Thanks for the help!

you are best off calling the school and asking. better to know for sure than to risk not being qualified for a criteria you weren't sure about

I emailed them and got one answer from one and another from a different person. I didn't know if anyone on here had applied to the program.

I don't know about that school in particular, but as a rule EDPs are more selective than the regular applications. Unless you are very competitive it is a big risk.
Sorry if you already knew that.

Just as a thought, my school's pre-med advisor highly discourages applying early unless you have very, very strong ties to the school, particularly in the admissions office (and an exceptional application, of course).

The problem is that if you don't get in, you are way, way behind in the application process and will significantly reduce your chances overall of getting into medical school.

But that's just one person's opinion, albeit one from someone who has been doing this for a long time.

Agreed. ED is a bad decision for almost everyone.

In my case, I applied ED because I really only want to go to that school. I can only apply to 2 schools in-state anyway because of money. Plus, I like to gamble...haha!

Guys, the OP isn't talking about ED but an early acceptance program. That means an applicant applies as a sophomore/junior way before most people apply.

woops...You are absolutely right!

Well in that case, it's your own school! Just walk into the office and ask!

From what I know, the gpa cut off may be 3.5gpa but the ppl who actually get in have around 3.7 or higher for every semester.
