So I retook my MCAT late July and AMCAS automatically changed my answer of future test date to YES. I know I did not do it manually because if I did, I would have to indicate the exact date of the test, which is not on there. I have submitted all of secondaries and am marked complete or under review at most schools. My question is if these schools are waiting for my new score, would they make a decision right after (or soon) they receive my new MCAT score or would my spot in line be lost and they would make a decision as if it was a late August-completed application?
I actually had no idea that AMCAS would automatically update my schools of just my registration...I was hoping that they would just update my app when my score was in. This is because I applied to schools around my original MCAT score and wanted them to just consider that, and I only took the second MCAT to be able to apply to higher stat schools later on.
I know I'm being neurotic but I am worried about being considered late now. The only II I've gotten thus far is from a school whose's secondary allowed me to choose the option of waiting for an MCAT score or proceeding immediately with review. I've gotten nothing but silence at other schools. I would appreciate any help/information!!! Thank you so much.
