The problem with this situation is that the OP's mind is made up, but is having a hard time accepting that this is the right thing to do. All the OP wants is people to validify the decision for the OP. Unfortunately, for the OP, the opinions are not what the OP desires. The OP is not going to accept the slot no matter how much we tell the OP to take the slot and no matter what reason we give for accepting it.

The positive thing about this situation - there is a chance for one of you who have not been accepted into the last cycle to get in based on the OPprobably turning his/her slot down.

word.

Anybody here on the waitlist at Nova?

So you say you're tight on money but you're willing to shell out another $2-4k for another interview process which could possibly cost you more in the present and future?

Doesn't make sense..it seems that you don't want to go to the school because it doesn't meet to your standards. This to me sounds very picky and immature. I hope you do give it up if that's your reasoning. There are more deserving people on that waitlist.

There seems to be a general consensus here on what the OP should do. Now it is up to him to make the final decision. Whatever decision you make, have no regrets. If you do get into your dream school, then kudos for sticking to your convictions. If you choose to defer, and not get in, at least you tried. If you do choose to take the offer you already have, make the most of your experience there. Good luck with whatever life brings your way. Closing thread at the request of the OP. 🙂
