Interviewed at Maine. Visited annually on family road trips. Loved the program!!!!! Portland is GORGEOUS!!! $4/lb Lobster, cheaper than a double quarter pounder. Winter is not that bad due to the buffering effects of the ocean water. Lots of snow 🙂 but doesn't "really" get below zero. Man...i am missing the haddock chowder or "CHOWDAH"..... Think of it like this:

From Cold to Freezing.

San Francisco
Seattle
Washington D.C.
New York City
Portland, Maine - not too shabby 😀
Pittsburgh
Chicago
Mayo-Mothership
Cananda
Antarctica

I was told by a resident when I interviewed at Rochester that he was "contracted" or whatever for 3-4 more years (which includes this year I believe). So there would likely be a change during our residency period (which is really too bad because he is AWESOME).

as a resident at Kentucky, i don't see how you could be unhappy inside the hospital...

on the outside...eh.

the department goes out for movie and ice cream on them. they got cash and they know where to spend it. 👍

Adding to the haddock chowdah and lobster commented above 😀
