Alright i just finished my freshman year, and to be honest i kinda f-ed up. I only took 24 credit hours but my gpa is a 2.93. I managed a C+ in a science course and a C in another regular course. Do i still even have a shot, cause i am kinda freakin out now.

This question gets asked about 12x a day on SDN. The answer is that if you clean up your act from here on in and get A's (with maybe an occasional B), you should be OK. There are plenty of successful applicants who had a rocky start and still made it in the end.

Do the math yourself with a presumed A- average each year, and you´ll see that you can still be competitive by the time you need to apply. But you have little room for error, so figure out what went wrong and fix it.
