Just received my scores today.

cGPA: 3.51
sGPA: 3.38
MCAT: P9 V9 B10 P

Up until this summer, I thought that MD schools would be the best, but after speaking to a few DO students and physicians, I really do like their approach to medicine. So what schools would you guys recommend that I apply to? Also, how do my scores look comparatively? I know that there are 100+ threads, but still. And I know DO shadowing is required by most so I'll need to get that going and send out a late letter probably in August.

I'm a TX resident, TCOM is already done.

I'd really like a shot at CCOM, maybe PCOM and NYCOM.

Thanks for your help in advance!!

you're definitely competitive, assuming you have good EC's. go for it man, and congrats on your good MCAT score.

Youre options should be pretty open. look closely at all the schools and then make your decision. I like KCOM because it is the founding school of ostepathic medicine, located in a rural town, surrounded by midwest football 😀, and has an unbelievable staff. But it really comes down to what works for you- youre stats should open a lot of doors. good luck
