Hello,
I was just hoping to get everyone's opinion on my chances for admission. I am applying to both MD and DO schools. I am currently in my first year of MPH and will apply for 2018 admission. I don't have an MCAT score yet, but I will in 2 months! Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!

BS in Microbiology with Honors
cGPA= 3.4
sGPA= 3.2

MPH (will graduate in 2018)
current GPA= 4.0

First generation college student
4 years of research with 2 publications
Member of 4 extracurricular organizations
1 Officer position
Student Government Association Senator for 1 year
Student Representative for MPH policy committee
Mentor for 2 years teaching freshmen honors students
Study abroad - Healthcare sociology classes and clinical shadowing (10hours) in South Africa
Global Brigades Mission to Panama and Honduras (40hours of medical experience per trip = 80hours total)
Shadowing (50hours)
Medical volunteering (36hours)

How are you a reapplicant with no MCAT?

We can only assess your chances of getting interviews. Acceptances are 100% on you. MPHs do little, if anything, for your competitiveness for MD schools. Come back when you have an MCAT score, then we can advise.

Don't be embarrassed, we could even help with strategies on retaking it. It also helps us give you a better picture of your chances
