Don't even start AMCAS this year unless your new MCAT score is balanced with at least an 8 VR.
Understand that the MCAT is just the first of the verbal-intensive multiple-choice hours-long exams in your future. The questions only get longer and harder and more ambiguous and more subtle.
I suggest that med schools can tell you're only trying to get by with minimums. You have too much competition to get away with that attitude. Even at ECU.
